SRINAGAR: Army and police recovered arms and ammunition during a search operation that was launched on the intervening night of Thursday and Friday in Samba district.
Quoting officials the news agency KNO reported that the operation was launched in Babbar Nallah area of Samba based on a specific tip-off.
They said that during the operation a consignment of arms and ammunition was recovered that was kept hidden near Babbar Nallah.
They said that 2 pistols, over 100 bullets, magazines and one pipe like structure have been recovered so far, while the operation was still going on.
