SRINAGAR: The Indian Army on Monday evening apprehended a Bangladeshi national in North Kashmir’s Kupwara district for investigation.
A senior police officer said that the army stationed at Chowkibal apprehended a man identified as Arman Hussain, son of Mohd Repun Mayon, a resident of Narsundy, Dhaka, Bangladesh, at TCP Chowkibal.
“After briefly questioning the apprehended individual, the army handed him over to the Police Station Kralpora,” the officer added.
The reason behind the foreign national’s presence and subsequent apprehension remains unknown at this time. (News Vibes of India)
