The Army on Sunday claimed to huge arms haul after it busted a militant hideout at Rota Nar near LoC in Keran sector of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district.
Talking to media persons at Zangli in Kupwara district, J S Sandhu, GoC 28 Infantry Division said the army had some inputs about militant movement in the area. “On our patrol, we busted a hideout where we recovered 20 A K 47 rifles, 38 magazines, 20 pistols, 40 pistol magazines,” Sandhu told media persons.
He said the movement was an attempt of intrusion to carry out a terror attack before New Year Eve.
