Outgoing Army Chief Gen Dalbir Singh Suhag Monday paid a farewell visit to forward areas of Kashmir and Leh to meet the troops stationed there.
He according to reports encouraged troops to continue to work with zeal and dedication.
Gen Suhag, who will be retiring on December 31, commended the synergy between various security agencies and civil administration.
The Army Chief was accorded a warm farewell by officers and men during his visit to all the forward locations in Kashmir and Leh, said an army officer of Udhampur-based Northern Command.
While interacting with the soldiers, he complimented them for their professionalism, selfless commitment and loyalty.
