SRINAGAR: The General Officer Commanding (GOC) of the White Knight Corps on Monday visited forward operational locations under the Ace of Spades Division and Counter Insurgency Force (CIF) Romeo to review the prevailing security situation and assess the operational preparedness of troops deployed in the Rajouri-Poonch region.
During the visit, the Corps Commander was briefed on the overall security scenario and measures being taken to strengthen operational readiness. Senior officers presented updates on capability enhancement, surveillance systems, precision strike capabilities and other initiatives aimed at improving preparedness for future warfare.
Interacting with troops deployed in forward areas, the Corps Commander commended all ranks for their vigilance, operational excellence and sustained commitment towards maintaining a secure and stable environment. He also appreciated the soldiers for displaying high morale, professionalism and dedication while performing their operational duties.
The Army said the visit was aimed at reviewing the operational preparedness of formations and ensuring a high level of readiness in view of the prevailing security environment.
The White Knight Corps reiterated its commitment to maintaining robust operational preparedness, emphasising that sustained readiness remains central to ensuring effective deterrence and safeguarding national security.
