Army on Monday claimed to have killed three more militants, taking the toll to five during an encounter in Tanghdar sector of north Kashmir’s Kupwara district. However, an army was also killed during an ongoing gunfight.
An Army spokesman said that the infiltration bid was foiled and three more militants were killed. An army man whose name was not known immediately was also killed along the LoC in Tanghdar sector.
Two militants were killed a day before and the operation in the area is still going on.
