SRINAGAR: An army soldier committed suicide at a post along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir, officials said on Sunday.
They said the soldier belonged to the army’s 39RR and was posted at Nambal post in village Salootri.
The soldier has been identified as Havaldar Rajender Singh.
Police post incharge Jhallas M D Khan told news agency GNS that proceedings under section 174 CrPC have been started at police station Poonch.
