SRINAGAR: A soldier was killed during an encounter that broke out in the Baji Maal forest area of Rajouri district on Wednesday, officials said.
Quoting an official, KNO reported that security forces were on a search operation in the Baji Maal forest area when contact was established with hiding militants.
He said that in the ensuing encounter, an army soldier was killed, while operation was going on.
