SRINAGAR: Security forces arrested an Army personnel at the drop gate of Srinagar International Airport after suspected contraband was recovered from his baggage, media reports said on Sunday.
The personnel was apprehended by police and CRPF personnel on Saturday during a checking operation, following the recovery of 213 grams of poppy straw and 69 grams of a cannabis-like substance, the reports said.
The seized substances were taken into possession by the security personnel, while further details regarding the matter were awaited.
