An army personnel committed suicide in Jammu on Friday.
Reports said that the deceased was identified as Lance Naik Deepak Singh.
He committed suicide by shooting himself with his service weapon at 16 Corps headquarters in Nagrota area of the district.
Unconfirmed reports said that with this incident of suicide, the number of deaths in troops and police personnel rose to 344 since January 2007.
