Army Personnel Killed In LoC Firing

SRINAGAR

An Indian army personnel was killed allegedly after Pakistani army personnel opened heavy fire with automatic weapons and rockets in the disputed Kashmir border in Poonch district.

As per a Delhi based wire agency, Indian and Pakistani troops exchanged fire for 40 minutes across the line of control in Sawjian area of Mandi sub sector. A Junior Commissioned Officer of the Indian Army, Naib Subedar Bachan Singh was killed in firing with automatic weapons and rockets from the Pakistani side of the LoC in Poonch sector.
