SRINAGAR: An Army personnel lost his life in a road accident on the highway near Rah Salyot area of Sunderbani in Jammu district on Sunday late evening.
An official said that the deceased has been identified as Romi Sharma, aged between 30 and 35 years, a resident of Salyote.
The accident occurred when Sharma’s motorcycle collided with a truck. He was immediately rushed to Sub-District Hospital Sunderbani, where doctors declared him dead on arrival.
Authorities have taken cognisance of the incident, and further investigation is underway. (KNC)
