Government forces on Friday claimed to have recovered arms and ammunition during a search operation in Poonch district of Jammu division, a news gatherer IANS reported.
“The army has recovered a large number of arms and ammunition, including 9mm pistols, magazines, rounds, one AK-56 rifle, one revolver, 14 hand grenades and one 7.62 mm foreign made rifle,” IANS quoted defence sources as saying.
The recovery was made in the Mandi tehsil, a report said.
