SRINAGAR: An army soldier was injured in a landmine blast near the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch district on Saturday.
Officials said that during routine patrolling near the LoC, an army personnel accidentally stepped on a landmine, triggering an explosion.
In the incident, the soldier sustained injuries and was immediately airlifted to Udhampur for advanced treatment. He has been identified as Deepak Kumar. (GNS)
