Members of the various trade and industry bodies on Wednesday held a protest demonstration against the attempts to abrogate special status of Jammu and Kashmir in Srinagar.
The trade bodies including KTMF, KEA, FCIK, KAA, and Traders Union Regal assembled near the Ganta Ghar in Lal Chowk holding placards and banners and registered their protest against attempts to tinker with the special status (Article 35 A).
The protest rally in the summer capital headed by Traders and Manufacturers Federation (KTMF), President Haji Muhammad Yasin Khan, registered their protest and said people are apprehensive of their fate and ready to sacrifice everything to safeguard their existence.
They also appealed all religious and non- religious organizations to extend their support to save the special status of Jammu and Kashmir.
