SRINAGAR: While referring to scrapping of Article 370 from Jammu and Kashmir, PM Modi on Monday said that BJP will get at least 370 seats in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, while the NDA will cross the 400-mark.
Speaking in the Lok Sabha during his reply to the Motion of Thanks to the President’s Address, PM Modi, as per KNS said said that he can gauge nation’s mood that it will give over 400 seats to NDA and at least 370 seats to BJP in Lok Sabha polls.
The Lok Sabha polls are scheduled to be held in April-May next year with BJP seeking a third consecutive term.
Hitting out at the Opposition, PM Modi said that everyone saw Article 370 was scrapped in the Parliament and gave a new direction of development to Jammu and Kashmir.
“We finished Article 370 from J&K. We passed the Women’s Reservation Bill. We removed laws from the colonial era. We’ve removed many obsolete laws.” he said.
He added that “I can gauge country’s mood. Lord Ram has returned not only home, but to such a grand temple that it is definite that ‘Abki baar 400 paar’ (This time 400 plus). Even Kharge ji (Mallikarjun Kharge) is saying it. Not only will NDA win 400+ seats, BJP itself will win 370 seats”. (KNS)
