Independent Langate lawmaker on Wednesday termed the recent controversy on the issue of Article 370 in the assembly as an attempt by both PDP and BJP to “dilute” the real dispute of Kashmir.
In a statement issued here, he said that by bringing up the issue of Article 370 PDP is trying to befool the people of Kashmir by pretending it has taken BJP head on for the people of Kashmir.
He said that it is an attempt to help PDP in Islamabad and Srinagar Parliamentary by poles.
The parties wanted to evoke contrary responses that would satisfy the aspirations of their respective electorates, he said.
The BJP’s response would facilitate them in impressing radical Hindu Voters in UP, Punjab and elsewhere by claiming that they have challenged and confronted Mehbooba Mufti for her remarks on Article 370″.
On the issue of Wednesday’s massive uproar in the house, he said the events that unfolded in state assembly today prove that the house is being controlled by secret hands and it hardly makes a difference to follow the rules and procedures or to respect the sentiments of people.
