SRINAGAR: In view of the prevailing situation, authorities have directed several private school heads in Sopore and Baramulla to immediately dispatch their school buses to Degree College Baramulla within one hour.
According to a directive issued by the Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Baramulla, the concerned schools are required to send a specific number of buses to the designated location and maintain close coordination with the District Administration and ARTO Baramulla.
The schools instructed to dispatch buses include SRM Welkin School Sopore (25 buses), Netherfield School Sopore (10), DPS Baramulla (10), Arafeen School Delina (10), Sanctorum Public School Sopore (10), Apex Public School Sopore (10), and GD Goenka Baramulla (10).
The school heads have been directed to submit details of the dispatched vehicles, including the driver’s name and contact number, to the ARTO office without delay.
The order warns that any negligence will be taken seriously and non-compliance may result in cancellation of the vehicle registration without further notice.
The directive, dated May 7, concludes with a strong instruction: “Matter be treated as most urgent.” (JKNS)
