JKLFs Javed Ahmad Zargar suffered heart attack when police raided his residence on Friday. He was immediately shifted to SMHS hospital where he regained his consciousness and is admitted to ICU cardiology, a statement issued by JKLF said.
Reports said Zagar’s residence was raided by cops in civvies last evening and started searching. It immediately started Zargar’s chest pain. His wife and cousin left everything and rushed Zargar to Florence hospital where doctors declared him critical and advised him to be shifted quickly to SMHS hospital. Interestingly, they left their home with the raiding cops. Zargar reached SMHS hospital in and survived.
JKLF chairman Yasin Malik has condemned the raid. He visited Zargar in the hospital, met his doctors and the family. An erstwhile top militant of JKLF, Zargar has spent 13 years in jail.
