Locals alleged that army came down heavily on villagers and ransacked properties and broke window panes of various houses including a Mosque besides thrashing many people including women and damaging parked vehicles.

After the incident the police reached the spot which further angered the people who protested against what they called force’s highhandedness.

They alleged that army and SOG men ransacked Tawheed Mohalla and Hagerpora areas of the village.
