“I am delighted to confirm the dates for the ACC Men’s Asia Cup 2025 in the UAE,” the PCB chairman posted on X. “The prestigious tournament will take place from September 9 to 28. We look forward to a spectacular display of cricket,” the post further reads.

India and Pakistan are drawn into the same group and will lock horns with each other on September 14. It will be the first confrontation between these two arch-rivals on a cricket field after Operation Sindoor.

While India, Pakistan, UAE and Oman are clubbed together in Group A, Group B will see Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, Afghanistan and Hong Kong. The tournament will be played in Dubai and Abu Dhabi.

The decision comes after an Asian Cricket Council (ACC) meeting in Dhaka, which was attended by several cricket playing nations.
