Assembly: 2014 Floods Devastated Srinagar Receives Rs 837 Cr as relief, So Far

Jammu and Kashmir Government on Saturday said that 2015 flood devastated summer capital has received an amount of Rs 837.81 crore as relief.

In a written reply to Lawmakers, Usman Majeed and Ab Rahim Rather, Relief and Rehabilitation Minister informed the Lower House of J&K Legislature that relief under SDRF, PMNRF and PMDP was disbursed in 20 districts.

The details suggest about the 20 districts affected by 2014 September floods, the state’s share in relief money is Rs 199.44 crore while Rs 568.60 crore has been given under PMNRF. The highest share comes from PMDP @ Rs 956.57 crore.
