Gupta criticized opposition leaders for disrupting the governor’s address in the house and chanted slogans while the National Anthem was being played.

“Members of the National Conference and other opposition leaders must not disregard the National Anthem. I will see the rules and regulations and will take action against them accordingly,” he said.

He said that every Indian is respecting the National Anthem while most of the NC and other opposition members must not have behaved what they did yesterday.

The J&K Legislative Assembly on Monday was disrupted by a protesting Opposition, who sloganeered against the government owing to which Governor NN Vohra was forced to cut short his speech amidst the chaotic situation in the house.

He warned that what happened in the assembly on yesterday must not be repeated. “Everybody must respect the National Anthem,” he said.
