Assembly Adjourned Twice On Guru Issue

The house of state legislative assembly was twice adjourned on Tuesday amidst the scenes of ruckus and scuffle on the statement of union home minister SK Shinde on Afzal Guru. PDP members, Er Rasheed and Tarigami were unanimous in demanding a resolution from the government in favor of the return of the mortal remains of Afzal Guru.

Shinde on Monday evening out-rightly ruled out the return of the parliament attack convict.

 When on Tuesday when the assembly met and the speaker appeared, the PDP members, Er Rasheed and Tarigami raised the issue of mortal remains of Afzal and the statement of Shinde. They raised slogans against the statement and in favor of the return of the body and  trooped into the well forcing the speaker to adjourn the house.

When the house resumed the said members continued their protest and demand. They strongly demanded a resolution fron the government about the issue.  They were countered by members of BJP and NPP which created uproar forcing Speaker to adjourn the house again.
