Assembly: Ex-gratia for those killed, blinded in uprising, says CM Mehbooba

The Jammu and Kashmir government Monday announced an ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakh and a job to the next of kin of those killed during uprising which triggered after the killing of militant commander Burhan Wani on July 8, 2016.

Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti told the legislative assembly that the families of the deceased will get Rs 5 lakh as ex-gratia and a job.

She also announced that those blinded by pellets would also be provided a job.
