Lawmakers of J&K Legislative Assembly on Saturday demanded investigation into life ending attempt by a senior IAS officer in Kashmir division.
Raising the issue during Zero Hour, PDP’s Chadoora Lawmaker, Javaid Mustafa Mir, while referring to a news report asked Speaker, Kavinder Gupta, to direct government to investigate “why such an attempt was made by the top officer”.
Mir was supported by other Lawmakers in the house.
Reports said that a top IAS officer attempted suicide at its official residence in Kashmir.
