As the states assembly resumed its business early Friday, lawmakers from opposition benches stood up and started raising slogans against the PDP-BJP Government.

Led by National Conference, the Opposition lawmakers including Congress and independent legislators demanded discussion on Handwara killings.

Five civilian were killed after protests erupted against alleged molestation bid by an army man.

The legislators also demanded roll back of NFSA and demanded additional ration fro people.

However, PDP Minister A R Veeri stood up and started discussing developmental issues.

The opposition lawmakers are in the well.

Meanwhile leader of Opposition, Omar Abdullah is also present in the house today.
