Deputy speaker Legislative Assembly, Nazir Ahmad Gurezi Wednesday directed the government to take the house seriously after directions from the chair remained “unaddressed”.
Earlier today, MLA Ramban Neelam Kumar Langeh had made an appeal in the house to seek permission for carrying a person’s dead body through Chenani-Nashri tunnel.
Immediately, Dy speaker directed concerned minister to take the matter with the administration and allow the vehicle carrying the body.
However, later in the afternoon, MLA Ramban informed the house that the dead body was taken to the tunnel but the authorities have stopped them there.
Taking cognizance Dy Speaker directed government to be serious with the house.
“This is first time that I am witnessing that directions from chair are not being taken seriously,” he said.
