Burglars stole an ATM machine of State Bank of India (SBI) from Lalbazar area of Srinagar last night, police said on Sunday.
A senior police officer said that unknown burglars barged into ATM in near Salfiya Chowk in Lalbazar area and decamped with the machine and cash amount of approximately 5 lakhs. Soon after learning about the incident, a police party rushed to the spot and launched investigations into it.
“A case FIR number 17/2018 u/s 457, 380 RPC was registered in the concerned police station with regard to the incident,” the officer said. (GNS)
