According to Divisional Commissioner Kashmir an avalanche warning has been issued in four districts of Kashmir division and people have been advised not to venture out in avalanche prone areas.
An official spokesperson said Friday evening that the warning has been issued for next 24 hours in avalanche prone areas in Kupwara, Baramulla, Bandipora and Ladakh districts.
The areas include Chokibal-Tangdhar, Keran, Gurez, Nawgam-Kalyan, Machil and Drass sector in Ladakh district, the spokesperson added.
