SRINAGAR: Security forces on Tuesday discovered explosives near a bridge on the Jammu-Pathankot national highway, prompting the diversion of traffic as a precautionary measure, officials said.
Quoting an official, KNO reported that the explosives were found near a bridge in the Sherpur area on the national highway.
He stated that police and security forces have rushed to the spot, with a bomb disposal squad also called in.
As a precautionary measure, authorities have diverted traffic on the highway.
