SRINAGAR: Authorities on Wednesday advised residents of Karnah to remain indoors in view of the prevailing situation.
In a handout, a government spokesperson said: “In view of the prevailing situation, the general public of Sub Division Karnah is requested not to assemble on roads, streets, or near shops. People are advised to stay indoors and refrain from venturing out.”
The statement further advised residents not to park vehicles along roadsides, especially on congested stretches.
It also asked the public to remove any construction material dumped along roadsides without delay.
“Anyone found violating these instructions shall be dealt with strictly,” the statement added. (GNS)
