SRINAGAR: An auto rickshaw caught fire near Golf Crossing on MA Road, close to the TRC in Srinagar, on Tuesday afternoon, leaving the vehicle partially damaged.
Officials said Fire and Emergency Services teams reached the spot quickly and doused the flames, preventing the blaze from spreading further.
During the incident, a Swift car (registration number JK09D 7762) parked nearby also sustained minor damage.
Authorities have launched an inquiry to ascertain the cause of the fire. No casualties were reported. (KNC)
