At least four persons went missing after an avalanche hits Aru area in Pahalgam area of south Kashmir’s Anantnag district on Friday.
According to the reports, during snow clearance on Pahalgam -Aru road at Gudkhamb point, JCB along with 3-4 persons were taken along by an avalanche.
An official said that the rescue teams and machinery have been swiftly pressed into service to rescue the stuck persons.
