SRINAGAR: India has advised its nationals in Saudi Arabia not to record or circulate footage and information relating to missile and drone interceptions, warning that violations of local regulations could attract legal action.
The Indian Embassy in Saudi Arabia issued the advisory on Sunday, October 25, reiterating a notification by Saudi Civil Defence against recording or sharing details of interception operations and affected locations. The Consulate General of India in Jeddah issued a similar advisory, urging Indian residents and visitors to comply with local laws.
The advisory comes amid heightened regional security concerns following reported missile and drone attacks targeting civilian infrastructure by Yemen’s Houthi movement.
