In wake of the deadliest attack in Lethpora Pulwama, the Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) has cancelled all the political programmes. A meeting led by PM Modi with cabinet members on security scenario in Jammu and Kashmir was also held at PM house in Delhi today morning, media reports claimed.

Reports also suggest that Jammu and Kashmir Governor Satya Pal Malik would be leaving for the wreath laying ceremony of the slain CRPF troopers in Kashmir. Meanwhile, Home Minister Rajnath Singh will also hold a meeting with top security and intelligence officials in the state.

Earlier, in the deadliest attack on forces in Jammu and Kashmir, forty-five paramilitary CRPF men were killed while 38 others were injured after a “suicide car bomber” rammed an explosive-laden vehicle into the bus near Lethpora at around 03:15 pm, resulting into an intensive blast in which 45 paramilitary personnel were killed.
