Hurriyat Conference (G) spokesman Ayaz Akbar was released on Thursday after being granted bail by Tehsildar city South.
According to sources, the bail was presented to the jail authorities, later concerned police station took him and handed him over to his family.
Pertinently Ayaz was arrested after the execution of Muhammad Afzal Guru and was lodged in Srinagar’s central jail. Few days ago, wife of Ayaz was detected with the cruel disease and chairman of his faction Syed Ali Geelani demanded his immediate release.
