SRINAGAR: The Democratic Progressive Azad Party (DPAP) announced its candidate for the Srinagar parliamentary constituency on Monday.

Amir Ahmed Bhat, District President of DPAP, has been declared as the party’s candidate for the Srinagar Lok Sabha seat.

The Udhampur Lok Sabha seat in the Jammu region has already undergone the first phase of polling, recording a 69 percent voter turnout on April 19.

The Srinagar Constituency is scheduled to go to polls on May 13.

JKNC has nominated senior leader Aga Ruhallah as its candidate, while PDP’s youth president, Wahid-ur-Rehman Parra, will contest elections from the Srinagar seat.
