Senior Congress Leader and MLA Inderwal, G M Saroori dared National Conference (NC) Chief Spokesperson as “mentally bankrupt” who in “utter frustration” is issuing statements out of his whims. Sarori also predicted that Ghulam Nabi Azad will head the next government in Jammu and Kashmir.

“National Conference (NC) is losing ground in J&K; utterance of Chief Spokesperson of NC is outcome of frustration as the hollow slogans of Autonomy has turned futile,” Sarori said in a function held at Tehsil Chatroo of district Kishtwar on Wednesday.

While terming the allegations of NC spokesman as baseless Saroori said, “NC Spokesperson and Provisional President of Jammu instead of visiting earthquake affected people arranged close door meetings with their party workers for selecting candidates for upcoming elections.”

Taking a dig on NC Spokesperson Saroori said, “NC is not updated that out of 10,000 tents 4,200 tents have been disbursed by local administration in Doda and Kishtwar districts and Ghulam Nabi Azad as chairman of Indian Red Cross sanctioned 1,000 tents to the affected families.”

Saroori also made it clear that Congress would emerge very strongly in the 2014 assembly elections and form Government in Jammu and Kashmir on its own and that too without any Alliance with any party.

“Ghulam Nabi Azad will be the next Chief Minister of Jammu and Kashmir,” Sarori added. He asked general public and Party workers to gear up for upcoming elections.

On the issue of corruption Saroori said, “land grabbing case be handed over to Central Bureau Investigation (CBI) and the names of persons involved in the same be made public.”
