SRINAGAR: For the academic session 2022, eligible and desirous candidates are invited to apply online for admission to B.Ed. Kashmir/ B.Ed. Special Education at the Institute of Advanced Studies in Education, (formerly Govt. College of Education) M. A. Road, Srinagar under the Cluster University of Srinagar and Composite Regional Centre, Bemina, Srinagar.
The Jammu and Kashmir Board of Professional Entrance Examinations Act, 2002 and the Rules and Regulations thereunder, the Jammu and Kashmir Reservation Act, 2004 as amended vide J&K Reorganization Act, 2019 and the Rules thereunder as amended vide SRO 518 of 2019 dated 02-09-2019 and S.O. 127 of 2020 dated 20 April, 2020 shall govern the selection of candidates, subject to any further amendments, if any, made by the competent authority from time to time, and guidelines. These Rules, Regulations, and e-Brochure can be found on the BOPEE’s official website(s) at www.jkbopee.gov.in.
ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA
1. The applicant must meet the following requirements:
Must have earned a B.A./B.Sc./B.Com./B.C.A./B.B.A. from a recognised university/institution in accordance with the 10+2+3 pattern, or an equivalent examination recognised by the Cluster University, Srinagar for the award of a B.Ed. degree; and
Must have scored a minimum of 50% in the qualifying examination for open merit and a minimum of 45 percent in the qualifying examination for any reserved category
Should be a resident of the UT of J&K or the UT of Ladakh.
2. Candidates who are taking or have taken qualifying examinations are also eligible to apply for and take the Entrance Test, but they must upload/submit their qualifying examination certificate by a specific date that will be announced separately.
SYLLABUS
The e-Brochure contains information on the exam, such as the syllabus, the estimated number of seats, and the Reservation Policy. The exam will take three hours to complete in one sitting, and the paper will have 180 questions divided into different sections.

Domicile Certificate of the UT of J&K/UT of Ladakh, as the case may be; however, ST certificates granted by the Competent Authority of Ladakh shall be recognised as Domicile Certificate in the case of candidates from the UT of Ladakh.
Certificate of graduation with qualifying marks; (where the result is declared)
Certificate of Birth Date: (only Matriculation Certificate) and
If applicable, a certificate of reserved category on the prescribed proforma (Duly renewed where ever applicable).
However, all the concerned should be aware that the above-mentioned papers, which are required for the submission of the application form, should be regarded as provisional and subject to change(s) as a result of any subsequent order issued by the Government.
