Bad Weather Disrupts Operations At Srinagar Airport, 42 Flights Cancelled

SRINAGAR: As the Valley received fresh snowfall, the air traffic has been completely disrupted with over three and a half dozen flight cancelled.

Director Srinagar International Airport, Kuldeep Singh told Kashmir Life that 42 flights had been cancelled till now. “42 flights were cancelled. No flights were rescheduled nor did any flights take off today.”

Kashmir valley, particularly higher reaches and parts of North Kashmir received snowfall today. The Meteorological department has issued an orange alert in the valley. The MeT department has predicted more snow in the coming days.
