A meeting of District Level Screening Committee (DLSC) was held under the chairmanship of District Magistrate Bandipora, Dr Shah Faisal here Friday. As many as 13 militancy related cases were taken up, an official statement said.
“The Committee sanctioned Rs 2 Lakh in favour of next of the kin of two deceased, Rs one Lakh in favour of one property damaged case and Rs 20 Lakh cash payment under SRO-43. Two more departmental cases were settled under SRO-43 while as one case was rejected and two another cases put in abeyance,” the statement added.
