High Court Bar Association Tuesday strongly opposed the decision of the Government to construct shelters, for the non-locals under NULM and stated that it is another conspiracy to change the demography of the J&K State, so as to reduce the Muslim Majority character of the State, into minority.
The Bar members in a meeting were unanimous in saying that the said move, shall have far reaching consequences and as it will affect and endanger, the ongoing freedom struggle of people of Kashmir and their demand to give them their right of self-determination, therefore, the aforesaid decision should be opposed tooth and nail by everyone. It was also stated that the decision was a part of the same sinister design, propounded and propagated by Hindu communalists belonging to RSS-BJP combine of settling non-State subject Army Personnel in colonies, in and around Srinagar Airport, for which even land was identified and was about to be allotted to them and therefore, it is the duty of every Kashmiri to defeat the same.
