The road connecting Khanpora area in North Kashmir to main Baramulla town Tuesday late evening sank-in.
Reports reaching here that the displacement of soil, near Mandir complex, has formed a 50 feet deep gorge thus disconnecting the movement of people and traffic.
Reports said that a TATA Mobile was plying at the spot when the road caved-in, however, there is no reported damage to life or property, yet.
Reports reaching here early this morning informed that road constructing agency – BEACON – has started working on an alternate road. And they are reported to have said that by evening the cut-off areas shall be connected to main town Baramulla.
