Students of Broad Based Basic Training, BBBT (Automobile) ITI course, Babademb Thursday alleged that the Department of Technical Education has adopted a discriminatory attitude towards the students from valley.

Students of the institute said that their examination was held in the month of March this year and papers were sent to Jammu Technical Board for checking. However as the results came out they were shocked to notice that all the candidates were declared as failed. “Out of 120 students, only 3 students have been declared as passed” students said.

“We fear that the Jammu Board has failed us deliberately” said one of the students. “It’s impossible that all the candidates could have flunked their exams”, he added.

The students were demanding that their papers should be re-evaluated in Kashmir only and justice should be done with them.
