A ferocious bear mauled a Hizbul Mujhadeen militant in South Kashmir’s Rothsuna village of Tral town. Police and Army has started a manhunt to nab the injured militant and in this regard police on Wednesday raided various Srinagar and South Kashmir based hospitals secretly.

Police sources told CNS that HM militant Adil Ahmed Shah alias Sultan soon after coming out from an hideout in forest area of Tral was heading towards Rothsuna where he was attacked by a ferocious bear who mauled him badly.

Sources said that the injured militant rushed back towards his hideout in critical condition.

Soon after receiving the news about the incident from their local sources, police and Army erected barricades and naka’s at different places while every vehicle was being thoroughly checked.

A police official said that we are sure that militants with some local help might have shifted him to nearby hospital or it is most probable that he is getting treatment in some local house.

Meanwhile policemen in plain clothes checked various hospitals in Srinagar and South Kashmir and collected all the details about the injured patients.

Pertinently, Adil Ahmed Shah who is 22 years old joined HM last year leaving his studies midway.
