SRINAGAR : A 30-year-old man was injured in a bear attack in Sarhandi Colony of Khonmoh on the outskirts of Srinagar on Monday, officials said.
Quoting an official, news agency KNO reported that the man was attacked by the bear in the colony and suffered injuries. He was shifted to SMHS Hospital in Srinagar for treatment, where his condition was stated to be stable.
The injured was identified as Muzaffar Ahmad Bhat, son of Ghulam Hassan Bhat, a resident of Sarhandi Colony, Khonmoh.
The latest incident has added to concern among residents, as it is the third bear attack reported in Khonmoh in the past 24 hours.
A man was attacked earlier on Monday morning, while a 57-year-old woman was injured in a bear attack in the area on Sunday.
