Beerwah shuts to mourn slain Tanveer’s killing

The residents of Beerwah town and adjoining areas of Budgam district are observing a complete to protest the killing of a youth by army yesterday.

While all the business establishments and shops are shut, a thin movement of traffic is on the roads.

Tanveer Ahmad Wani, a tailor by profession, was shot dead by army yesterday. Police have lodged an FIR against army.

Meanwhile, police has imposed restrictions and sealed all entry and exit points of Beerwah town to prevent protests against Wani’s killing.
