SRINAGAR: A 19-year-old youth from Beerwah area of Budgam, identified as Adnan Ashraf, passed away today at SMHS Hospital Srinagar, nearly two months after sustaining critical injuries in a motorcycle accident.
According to reports, Adnan was injured in a road mishap in Beerwah and had been undergoing treatment since then. Despite sustained medical care, he did not recover and succumbed to his injuries this morning.
Adnan was the only son of his father, who works as a small vendor in Beerwah.
Funeral prayers were held in Beerwah, attended by a large number of locals. [KNT]
