Ahead of flying to winter capital, Jammu, on Sunday, Peoples Democratic Party chief and CM designate, Mehbooba Mufti Saturday visited Bijbehara and offered prayers at her father’s grave.
Ms Mehbooba was accompanied by her daughter, uncle Amin Mufti and her cousin Sajad Mufti.
Emotional, Mehbooba prayed for stayed for around 15 minutes at late Mufti Sayeed’s grave and offered Fateha Khawani.
No media personnel were allowed to go near the venue.
Ms Mehbooba is likely to take oath as first woman chief Minister of J&K on the evening of 4th April.
